Cost for delivery
We do not charge our customers for delivery of number plates or documentation associated with your order from Big Reg. We provide our delivery services free of charge.
Delivery confirmation
Once we have processed your order, we send email confirmation to the email address provided by you. In addition to the email, we send written confirmation of your order using Royal Mail’s First-Class postal service, we send this to the address you provided on your order.
Delivery timescales
We use the Royal Mail’s First-Class postal service to send written confirmations by post, send your new set of number plates and any other documents we need to send you. We rely on the Royal Mail to achieve their delivery timescales. We will provide tracking numbers where appropriate to our customers. We cannot be held responsible for any delays due to the service being provided by Royal Mail.
Please note: the Royal Mail working days are Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.
Delivery Recipient Screening
We have a responsibility to operate a strict fraud screening process. We will only deliver to the cardholder’s address. If a customer would like their items delivered to a different address, you will need to send us an email request to have your items dispatched to a different address. For us to approve this request, we will then send a release document to this address in order to receive formal permission from the cardholder, by way of a signature, that we are able to deliver to an alternative address if required.
Dispatch of Road Legal Number plates.
Big Reg is a registered DVLA Number Plates Supplier (DVLA RNPS number 70389). To keep in line with the current legislation that covers manufacturers of number plates, we need to see proof of identity (as outlined by the DVLA) before it can dispatch the customers new number plates. The Company will request sight of such a document in the Purchaser’s written confirmation. If we do not receive the required proof of identification from you, we will not dispatch your number plates.
Delivery outside of UK and Northern Ireland.
It is not possible for us to deliver to any address outside of the UK and Northern Ireland.
Preferred Delivery Partner
Our preferred partner for delivery services is the Royal Mail. We use their First Class and Special Delivery Services for dispatch of our items. Please note: where we deem it necessary, we reserve the right to use a different supplier, (who can provide a similar or better service)
